Tirtha Bayu Estate takes it’s name in tribute to the amalgamation of the sacred waters of the Indian Ocean and the life giving winds of Bali’s highland. It is a meeting point, a realm of reflection, sensation and energy. Tirtha in ancient sanskrit means Sacred Water. Bayu traditionally means ‘Wind that gave life,’ as this was Bayu’s gift to the creation of the world according to Bali Hindu lore.
Tirtha Bayu Estate was originally built in the mid 1990’s as a private residence under the name Villa Vena. It has the prestige of being the very first beachside Villa in Cemagi. The Original building was cleared in 2012 too commence with the reenvisioning of what is now the Tirtha Bayu Estate. The property is perched above Cemagi beach facing westward with direct access to the sand below. 180 degree’s of unimpeded view of the deep blue Indian Ocean under azure sky are enjoyed over the 150m breadth Tirtha Bayu Estate.
